About Pharmacy.rw

Pharmacy.rw is a directory of the 897 pharmacies licensed by the Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority (Rwanda FDA): 766 retail pharmacies (the main directory), plus 125 wholesale, 3 hospital, and 3 online pharmacies. The goal is simple: make it fast for anyone in Rwanda to find a licensed pharmacy and get there.

Each category comes from its own official Rwanda FDA list, published on their licensed premises page:

These lists include each pharmacy's registered location — province, district, sector, and cell — but not a phone number or exact street address, since Rwanda FDA doesn't publish those.

Because of that gap, every pharmacy page includes a "Get directions" link to Google Maps and a "Request an update" button pharmacy owners can use to add their phone number or WhatsApp directly.

License expiry dates shown are exactly as published by Rwanda FDA — they are not a live status check, so a listed date does not necessarily reflect a pharmacy's current licensing status. Insights summarizes how the register is spread across districts and when those licenses come due.
